The Board of Directors are committed, in conjunction with the Company’s Health & Safety and Quality Policies, to ensure that all activities undertaken on or on behalf of the Organisation are conducted with the highest regard to minimising any adverse environmental impact.
All activities which may have an effect on the environment, any relevant legislation and Industry Sector best practices are identified and corresponding procedures developed.
Procedures are reviewed on a regular basis through a process of auditing and Management Review which along with realistic targets ensure that there is ongoing continual improvement in the Company’s Environmental performance. Targets are communicated throughout the organisation and to all interested parties so that all staff are committed to their achievement.
The most significant areas for the business are identified as fuel and energy conservation, waste disposal and prevention of pollution and water contamination.
The procedures and objectives are achieved by means of an environmental management system which satisfies the requirements of BS EN ISO 14001: 2004.
